Course Content

Module 1: Blockchain Fundamentals & Development Setup
This module builds the foundation of blockchain technology from absolute basics. Students will understand how blockchain actually works internally instead of just theory. Covers core concepts like blocks, hashing, decentralization, and consensus mechanisms. Introduces Ethereum ecosystem and smart contracts conceptually. Prepares development environment required for blockchain coding (Node.js, MetaMask, Hardhat). Essential for understanding every future module (without this, nothing else makes sense). By the end, student will be able to explain blockchain clearly and set up dev environment confidently.

  • Introduction to Blockchain
  • How Blockchain Works (Blocks, Hashing, Chain Structure)
  • Ethereum & Smart Contracts Introduction
  • Blockchain Development Environment Setup
  • Check what have you learnt about Blockchain Basics Assessment
  • Simple Blockchain Simulator (Conceptual Model)

Module 2: Ethereum & Smart Contracts (Intermediate)
This module moves from theory to actual Ethereum development concepts. Focuses on how Ethereum architecture works internally with EVM execution model. Introduces Solidity programming fundamentals required for smart contract development. Covers how smart contracts store data, execute logic, and consume gas. Explains events, modifiers, and basic security concepts used in real production contracts. Builds direct bridge between blockchain theory and real DApp development. After this module, student can read and write basic smart contracts independently.

Module 3: Smart Contract Development with Solidity & Testing (Advanced)
This module focuses on writing production-level smart contracts using Solidity with correct architecture patterns. Students will learn advanced Solidity features like mappings, structs, inheritance, and error handling. Covers testing smart contracts using Hardhat and understanding deployment workflow. Introduces security vulnerabilities like reentrancy, overflow, and access control flaws. Focus shifts from “writing code” to “writing safe, production-grade blockchain applications.” By the end, students will be able to build, test, and debug real smart contract systems. This module directly prepares for real-world blockchain developer roles.

Module 4: Decentralized Crowdfunding Platform (DApp)
This final module combines everything learned in previous modules into a complete real-world blockchain application. Students will build a fully functional decentralized crowdfunding platform (like Kickstarter but on blockchain). It integrates smart contracts, security patterns, testing, and frontend interaction concepts. Focus is on real deployment workflow and production-ready architecture. Students will understand how blockchain applications operate end-to-end in real systems. Covers contract design, data flow, user interaction, and blockchain state updates. By the end, student will be capable of building and deploying full DApps independently.
