About Course
This 2-month Cyber Security Internship is a practical, structured training program designed to help beginners build strong foundational and intermediate-level cybersecurity skills required to understand, identify, and prevent modern digital threats.
The program follows a step-by-step learning approach, starting from cybersecurity fundamentals and gradually progressing toward real-world security practices, ethical hacking concepts, web security, and system protection techniques. It is designed to combine conceptual understanding with hands-on practical exposure through labs, quizzes, assignments, and project-based learning.
🚀 What This Internship Covers
The internship begins with an introduction to Cyber Security Fundamentals, where learners understand the importance of cybersecurity in today’s digital world. Students learn about cyber threats, hacking concepts, malware, phishing, social engineering, and the basic principles of confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA Triad). This phase establishes the core mindset required for cybersecurity professionals.
Once the fundamentals are covered, the program moves into Networking and System Security, where learners gain understanding of IP addresses, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, firewalls, ports, protocols, and how devices communicate over networks. Students also explore operating system security concepts, user authentication, permissions, and common vulnerabilities found in systems.
The internship then introduces Ethical Hacking Basics and Security Tools, allowing learners to understand how attackers exploit systems and how security professionals identify vulnerabilities. Students work with industry-relevant tools for scanning, reconnaissance, password analysis, and vulnerability assessment while learning responsible and ethical security practices.
Next, learners dive into Web Security and Cyber Attacks, where they study common web vulnerabilities such as SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), brute-force attacks, session hijacking, and phishing techniques. Alongside attack concepts, students also learn prevention techniques, secure authentication methods, and best practices for protecting web applications and user data.
In the final phase, participants work on a practical cybersecurity project where they apply their knowledge to analyze vulnerabilities, secure systems, and implement basic security measures in simulated real-world scenarios. This project-oriented approach helps learners understand how cybersecurity works in actual industry environments.
